INTRODUCTION

The Project Management Professional is basically a designation or recognition for the project managers. The results of the computer-based examination will be displayed immediately after the examination on the monitor. The results will be sent to the candidates who take the paper-based examination within three to four weeks. Now, coming on to the construction of the examination for the PMP, there are in total two hundred questions in the examination. Out of these, twenty-five questions are already solved, giving an example to the candidate about how to solve the remaining questions on the exam. These twenty-five solved questions do not have any role in the scoring of the final result. The score of the candidate would be calculated on the basis of the remaining 175 questions.

As from the prior discussion, it is understood that the certification of Project Management Professional is very desirable one. Almost all the project managers would love to have a professional certification in project management. One advantage of having the PMP certification is that the salary of a certified PMP project manager is 20% more than that of a normal project manager. There is a huge difference in the salary of these project managers because a PMP certified project manager has greater and more professional knowledge about leading and managing the projects.
The projects which are led by a Project Management Professional are always valued more than the projects which are led by the normal project managers.
