The Winnipeg Jets are bringing centre home.

The Jets acquired the Winnipeg-born centre from the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday for a conditional fourth-round pick in 2021.

If the Jets qualify for the playoffs this year or re-sign Eakin to a new contract by July 5, the Jets will instead transfer their 2021 third-round pick to the Golden Knights. Eakin is eligible to become Caption America Flag Iron On Decals an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Eakin, 28, has four goals and six assists in 41 games with Vegas this season. He has 232 points (102 goals, 130 assists) in 578 career NHL online games with Washington, Dallas and Vegas.

A third-round pick (85th overall) of the Capitals in 2009 2009, Eakin was a member of a Canadian team that finished second at the world junior hockey championship in 2011.

The six-foot, 183-pound Eakin joins a Jets team that was sitting in the first wild-card playoff spot in the Western Conference entering play Friday night.

The Jets also announced they have assigned forward Andrei Chibisov to the American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose.

The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forwards Joseph Blandisi and Jake Lucchini from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forwards Riley Barber and Phil Varone.

The Canadiens announced that both Blandisi and Lucchini will report to the AHL's Laval Rocket.

Blandisi has skated in 23 video games with the Penguins this year, posting two goals and five factors. He offers six goals and 14 points in 26 AHL games this season. The 25-year-outdated was a sixth-circular draft pick COVID-19 Personalized t shirt transfer of the Colorado Avalanche in 2012.

Barber, 26, appeared in nine video games with the Canadiens this season, failing to post a point. He has 13 goals and 31 points in 39 games with the Rocket. He is also arranged to become a restricted totally free agent in July.

Varone, 29, offers four goals and 14 factors in 27 online games with the Rocket this year. The 29-year-previous appeared in a career-high 47 NHL video games with the Philadelphia Flyers last time of year, posting three goals and seven points. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
