Many homes (and even offices) have been fashioned from what used to be industrial units. Meanwhile, if you have recently converted your loft, you may have reacted with delight at seeing the exposed wooden panels and beams and taking in how good they look.

What you may not have realised,…

Choosing A Residential Water Filter System

Across the country, people are spending too much on bottled water just to enjoy the crisp clean taste of filtered water. Because of the aging infrastructure used to deliver water to our homes, many homes have tap water that just cannot deliver the clean taste that people like their water to have. If you are one of these people, adding a Residential Water Filter System to your home is a great way to cut down on bottled water and enjoy tasty water fresh from your own kitchen sink.

One of the most common drinking water filters is the filtered water pitcher. These systems are usually affordable, but they require frequent filter changes which can quickly add up over time. This, combined with their need for constant upkeep, can make these filters a hassle to manage over time. A standard filter pitcher will last for 40 gallons of water and can filter particles as small as 3 microns in size. The poor filter capacity and the fact that these pitchers are taking up valuable fridge space make them a poor long term solution.

The next type of residential water filter system homeowners should consider are under sink filters. These systems typically use a dedicated faucet to deliver filtered water using the same line as the cold water side of your faucet. Some systems even use the cold water side of your faucet to deliver the filtered water. Under sink systems by Everpure can filter over 1000 gallons of water per cartridge and will remove contaminants as small as 0.5 microns, delivering some exceptionally clean water. One of the distinct advantages of these systems is the fact that they require minimal maintenance, with most filter cartridges only needing to be changed annually.

One of the most effective residential water filter systems is a reverse osmosis filter. These under sink filters will offer incredibly clean drinking water, filtering out particles as small as 0.00001 microns in size. This process is completed using a special filter membrane that mimics the osmosis action that occurs across cell walls. The process is slower, so these systems will typically require more room for a filtered water storage tank to collect water so you will not have to wait when you want filtered water.

Because the membrane used in RO filters is sensitive, the water has to be filtered before undergoing the RO process to remove large particulate and chlorine that might damage the RO membrane. The RO filter itself can last for years before needing to be replaced, while the refilter will need to be changed more often.

Oh, do you have the possibility to install them at my office in New York?

It's not the easiest question so I think that it's better to trust this problem to the real professionals from New York. I recommend you to check their website on https://www.highwaterstandard.com/water-filter-installation-nyc to learn more information about them and also read about benefits of such filters. It's a very informative article
