What Animal Crossing Updates Need To Add-In 2021

2020 used to be a good one for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. After a successful release, New Horizons has seen consistent free updates. However, these types of updates simply added holiday-themed items and activities. 2021 is definitely an opportunity for Nintendo to incorporate new content to Animal Crossing that really changes how players have the game.

Most of Animal Crossing's updates have added various recipes and activities based on many holidays throughout the year (such as Easter and Thanksgiving). Although players can Buy ACNH Bells related to holiday themes, such as Halloween decorations in November, they quickly age. There are some updates that add less time-oriented content, including the ability to swim or visit Dreamland, but these are just New Leaf features that were not available in New Horizons at the time of release.

If there's anything New Horizons needs in 2021, it's some simple quality-of-life changes. Nintendo already added an alternative to expand Animal Crossing's storage more initially intended, but one of the more annoying aspects of the game could be the scene that plays when players join each other's islands. It's adorable, but it really takes forever, so a solution to skip it could make a considerable difference. Additionally, while custom designs help players truly customize their characters and islands to get one of a kind, the limit on their own number is extremely harsh and may be expanded. The capability to access storage everywhere would be just as helpful. Finally, it's unlikely Nintendo will work it, even so, the ability to create multiple islands about the same console would include a significant value to New Horizons.

Crossover content would be also an interesting addition, alongside the standard holiday content. Nintendo has now announced Super Mario furniture is coming to the sport, so perhaps it is going to add in the rest in the Nintendo-themed furniture that never managed to get over from New Leaf, just like the Zelda set or Samus' helmet. Animal Crossing: New Horizons became a great game for helping people survive in 2020, but the additions may make it better yet in 2021.
