Locate the Flashback Tapes in Crash Bandicoot 4

Every main stage of Crash has one Flashback Tape. So there are a total of 21 tapes available that you need to collect while playing the levels. The only requirement to obtain these tapes is that you have to get the tapes without dying. While playing a stage, you have to be careful until you get the tape, but you can die afterward to finish the level once you have it. So here are the locations of Flashback tapes.

Crash Compactor Tape Location

The first tape will be available on the first level. It will be in front of you, so you simply need to run towards it and grab it.

Hit the Road Tape Location
Check out the metal pipeline before reaching the third checkpoint. You’ll find a Flashback Tape on your right side.

Booty Calls Tape Location

Once you get the second checkpoint, you’ll enter the cave. Progress through the cave, and after some time, you’ll find Sword Lizard. There you’ll find the tape on the left side.

Jetboard Jetty Tape Location

Once you pass the first Jetboard area of the level, check out the pier’s right side. There you have to land to get the tape.

Once you beat the first group of the stone lions, you’ll find the tape right behind them.

When you have Akano and follow the series of glides through ridges, the tape will appear on the final platform close to the flamethrower tower.

Off Beat Tape Location

Cross the rooftops and jump over the first appeared nitro crate. You’ll find the tape in your way, which is also part of the checkpoint.

Run It Bayou Tape Location

During your ride on the food boat, try to avoid the pipes and jump off from the final TNT crate and catch the tape. Make sure not to miss the tape because you won’t be able to come back.

Move forward in the following level until you achieve your sixth checkpoint. Once you obtain the sixth checkpoint, you’ll find the tape on your right side, and to obtain it, you need to go by sliding under a tree.

Once you achieve the checkpoint after long grinding, you’ll find the tape just after sliding down through the rock.

After achieving the checkpoint, you’ll find your tape on the right of the hallway.

Stowing Away the Tape Location

Take the elevator for coming down from a bridge. Perform double jump through the gap and catch the tape while being in mid-air.

Crash Landed Tape Location

Once you have the checkpoint in the cave, you’ll flip, and on the right of the roof, you’ll find your tape.

Food Run Tape Location

Once you get to the point where you’ll be required to run along with the busses. There you’ll find the tape between the four crates. You need to wait and land at the bus’s bottom side and grab the tape before moving ahead.

Nitro Processing Tape Location

Run on the level until you reach the section where water trenches ups and down. There you need to climb one of the green monsters, and then you’ll find the tape on the right side of the platform.

Toxic Tunnel Tape Location

During the Teslacoins and hearing Cortex complaints regarding his diary’s passwords. You have to check out the left side of the following platform. You’ll find the tape floating over a crate, and there you need to jump and bounce off to get back on the actual platform.

Cortex Castle Tape Location

You’ll find this final tape at the endpoint of the level. You’ll see a metal crate just before the Nitro crates. There you need to switch the masks and avoid the pink lasers. If you follow this correctly, you’ll have your final Flashback tape.
