In the end your registration will be processed online, either through the website, through the online activation in S1 or the offline activation. You'll end up activating in your account anyway. Just go to 'My software' and use the key that was provided. The installation for the demo, Artist and Pro is the same, it's the license that determines which functionality is available. I hope to get a good disk. How can one get a blank disk? I like and admire software people who develop sequencers and i also like people who sell it.

I have a question though, if I download from my user account do I use the key that came with the disk? How does the "account" know that I have the Pro version? I will try the key that came with the cd, but do you know what I mean?

Joined: 06/08/2011 02:39:24 Messages: 28 Offline I apologize, I'm not trying to hijack the thread but I got the Pro version today (discs) as well as an AudioBox; and the installation disc does not run in either one of my 4 computers; the disk appears to be blank; Tech Support is closed so I thought I'd throw the issue here, maybe someone has a recommendation, or suggestions? Should I just stick with my MBox and send the whole thing back? I'm utterly frustrated. Thanks.

I have two laptops one with a dual Pentium and one with a CoreDuo, but I want to buy a new one with more power, "more cowbell. Jim" I saw an Acer with a Phenom quad core, is that the route to go? Is Window 7 better than the old XP for this kind of app? Sorry for all the questions I'm kind of in the dark. Thanks for your help.

Don't panic. Sounds like a faulty disk. These things happen.
I can only imagine what you must be thinking right now being on the other side of the world.
I hope someone gives me a suggestion as to what I should do; I really don't want to send it back but it's 200 dollars that I can use to upgrade to Protools 9; I know it might be more complicated to use, but it works every time.

I like this software better than Pro Tools which I have been using for years, but I'm tired of it. I love being able to just drag an instrument into a track and that is all I have to do, it just works; that is why I saved for months to be able to buy the upgrade.
