Four Tips to Create the Perfect House Cleaning Schedule

Being a mom of two little kids, it was very difficult for me to manage the house when we moved to London a few months back. My husband works remotely, and he loves to have a tidy home 24/7. I also believe that neat and tidy living spaces are essential for our minds. So, I started my quest to keep the house clean. With time, I have learned that cleaning requires planning and a customized cleaning schedule.

After so many trials and errors, I ended up with a solid cleaning plan. My struggle for maintaining a clean home alerted me to the fact that many working moms and even homemakers with busy routines are going through the same thing. I decided to write this article to inspire you and give you some practical tips for setting up a cleaning routine that won’t make you go crazy.
Here are my tips:
1.What Needs Cleaning and Asking for Help

First of all, you should know why a cleaning carpet plan is essential. Which areas require deep cleaning, and how often should you clean. Knowing these basics can make things easier for you. Remember that kitchen and washrooms can never be compromised. Daily cleaning of these areas can keep your home 50% germ-free. Besides this, you need to be extra careful if you have pets at home. You will even feel a decrease in doctor visits if you start keeping your home clean.

Your biggest mistake is doing all the chores yourself, which can even make you sick in a matter of days. If you have a big family, ask others to contribute to cleaning—delegate duties as per age. For instance, a 15-year-old girl can easily clean the kitchen counters if you provide a cleaning solution. Similarly, ask your husband to clean the garage on weekends. You can also ask a friend to help you when it is your deep cleaning day.
However, be sure to help her back in the same way.
Hiring a professional cleaning service is also a wise idea. If you can afford professional cleaning every day, hire professionals for specific tasks such as carpet cleaning. Not only will it reduce your burden, but your carpets will also be cleaner than ever! We recommend you to hire professional cleaners every 90 days. However, if it is affordable, you can call them every month.

2.Does Everything Need to Be Cleaned?

Undoubtedly house cleaning is a daunting task. However, sometimes every other thing does not require cleaning. For instance, your new lounge sofa, which was purchased a month back, does not require a deep clean with a vacuum. Many times we cancel our cleaning plans, thinking that it will take a lot of time and effort. However, if we think smartly, giving a neat look to the house is also possible with less time and less energy.

I have experienced this with my full-time job. Though I only had weekends to spend time with family, I successfully managed to clean my house. This is because I never overdo things in cleaning. I carefully inspect the things that require cleaning. I rarely use my guest room, so keep its door closed all the time. In this way, the room does not become dirty. Thus, my main focus is my kitchen, washroom, and the living room.

I clean the kitchen cabinets from inside after every three months. However, from outside, I clean them after fifteen days. Similarly, fans of my room do not become dirty frequently. On the other hand, my living area needs daily cleaning as it attracts a lot of dust because of the balcony that has an opening at the corner. So, cleaning them once a week is a must-do thing in my list.

You, too, can work out a similar schedule by identifying areas that require more cleaning and areas that don’t. In this way, you won’t overwork yourself trying to clean places that are rarely used in your home.

3.Divide Your Work

Cleaning an entire home in one day is the biggest mistake. It makes us extra-tired, resulting in demotivation is for the next cleanup. A smart solution is to clean your house in chunks. You can clean room by room or design your customized cleaning schedule as per the help you get from your spouse.
For instance, you can set a particular day for kitchen cleaning when both of you are off from the office or when the workload is low. You can also do windows one day, then doors, floor, and furniture in the coming days, picking one category at a time.

Tips:
-Always pick the room that requires less effort on your laundry day.
-Selecting alternate days for cleaning will give you good rest and cleaning will look less like a burden.

4.Try to Automate Things

Though cleaning is essential, manually doing all the chores is not absolute. Search for the best cleaning equipment, as investing in good machines will save your time and energy in the long-run. You can buy the latest vacuum cleaner for carpets, rugs, curtains, sofas, and windows. Similarly, an automatic mop and several latest broomsticks are a time-saving option. If you have the budget, you can even look for a cleaning robot.

You can also buy an automatic washing machine that cleans the clothes besides drying them out. A dishwasher is a good option too. Similarly, search for products that give the best cleaning results, like floor cleaners, sink cleaners, glass cleaners, and so on.

Conclusion
In short, maintaining a clean and sparkling house is not a tough job. By automating things, delegating tasks, and preparing beforehand, cleaning becomes manageable. By incorporating the tips mentioned above in our cleaning plans, we can reduce our efforts and time remarkably. Getting rid of all the dust, debris, and grime become frustrating when you let it stay longer. Follow a smart housework plan and get tremendous results in no time.
