Geelong coach Chris Scott gives cheeky clip back to Kane

GEELONG coach Chris Scott has http://www.cinemakolik.com/ed-dickson-jersey-c-1_14.html given a cheeky clip back at media commentator Kane Cornes while defending injured star Patrick Dangerfield.
Cornes suggested that the midfielder “exaggerates” injuries on the weekend following Dangerfield’s foot bone bruising suffered against Hawthorn.
The Cats star could potentially fly with the team to Adelaide for a Friday night top of the table clash, with Scott saying that he won’t need an answer on Dangerfield by Wednesday.
“It wouldn’t be a problem for me if he was tested at midday (on Friday),” Scott told Fox Footy’s AFL 360.

Scott said he wasn’t sure if the comment actually reflected Cornes’ “true feelings”.
“I think it’s attention-seeking behaviour ... so I’m inclined not to give it too much attention,” he said.
“As a coach you like to defend your players if you feel they need to be defended. Patrick Dangerfield doesn’t need me stepping in for him.
“He probably took it in the spirit in which it was intended and I tend to think it was a comment that was a legacy of the old Port-Crows http://www.dusenadup.com/kurt-coleman-jersey-c-1_8.html rivalry rather than anything that reflected Kane’s true feelings.
“I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.”
Scott said in his experience Dangerfield did not exaggerate injuries, revealing that the Brownlow medallist played with broken ribs earlier this season.
“My experience with him is that he deals with pain pretty well - maybe we have different experiences and different perspectives,” Scott said.
Back in May, Scott played down Dangerfield’s situation, stating that he was simply “a little bit sore in the ribs” following a heavy collision with Hawthorn’s Jarryd Roughead on Easter Monday.

But he pointed to his own experiences with ankle and foot injuries as for a reason why the incident appeared to impact Dangerfield so heavily.
“This is a foot not an ankle (sprain), but it James Bradberry Authentic Jersey just feels terrible the day after and two days after, and you think how can I possibly play in a week or whatever it is?” he said.
“And then they tend to come good.”
Both Scott and St Kilda coach Alan Richardson took Cornes’ comments in a lighthearted fashion, with the latter quipping, “Kane Cornes says he’s right to go so he’ll definitely play.”
