Coolsculpting is an effective treatment method in reducing fat. It is non surgical fat reduction, non invasive that gets rid of the fat cells underneath the skin. Given that the procedure is noninvasive, it has numerous benefits over the surgical far removal methods. The treatment has been approved by the FDA.


how coolsculpting works?

Coolsculpting cryolipolysis is whereby an applicator is placed between a roll of fat which cools the fat cells. Cryolipolysis reduces fat by about 25 percent. The results will be visible after six months. Once the fat cells have been frozen, they are excreted from the body through the liver. Thus, you will have full results once all the fat cells have been excreted from the body.

 Most people get the non surgical fat reduction done in several parts of the body. The areas which you can have coolsculpting done are lower back, thighs, belly, and upper arms. You can use the procedure to get rid of cellulite on arms, legs and buttocks.

 The non invasive fat reduction can also be used to remove excess fat underneath the chin. Each body part takes about an hour. When you treat many body parts, you have to go for different sessions to see the results you want. Larger body parts require you to go through several treatments.

Side effects

There are some minor side effects that you will have when you go for non invasive fat removal treatment. There is a tugging feeling that you will feel during the procedure. However, it only affects the area being treated. When the applicator has been placed between fat rolls, you will also feel some stinging, aching, and pain.

 These sensations may go on for about two weeks. However, they will eventually go away on their own. You do not require any additional treatment to get rid of the sensations. You may also feel some skin sensitivity.

At times, the coolsculpting treatment can result in increase in fat cells in the area being treated. However, thus rarely happens. The side effect occurs mostly in men than in women. It is not clear why the fat cells grow in size.

It is important to know about this side effect. The side effect which is known as paradoxical adipose hyperplasia. The increase in fat cells will require you to get medical attention. It does not go away on its own. You can opt for other fat removal treatment to help solve the problem. You can choose to go for liposuction.

Who can go for coolsculpting

Coolsculpting even though it is safe and effective for coolsculpting before and after stomach is not meant for everyone. You cannot use it to lose weight. The treatment is appropriate for removing small amounts of stubborn fat. You can use it to remove stubborn fat which are persistent even after exercise and diet. The conditions include cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease and paroxysmal cold hemoglobuinuria (PCH). You need to tell your doctor if you have these conditions. Make sure you talk to your doctor before going for coolsculpting treatment.
