DESCRIPTION.
The Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Custom Download is now available. This feature:
Reduces the size of the SPP download Combines a Maintenance Support Bundle (MSB), SPP Hot fixes, or OS supplement with an SPP.
The SPP Custom Download is a free online service that allows a custom SPP to be created and then downloaded. This SPP can be tailored to a specific computing environment. By leveraging the Smart Update Manager (SUM) custom baseline capability, the SPP Custom Download lets custom SPPs be created in two simple steps prior to download.

DETAILS.
With the Custom Download service, there is no longer a need to download the full SPP, MSBs, or OS Supplements in order to customize it for a specific computing environment (add or remove Smart Components). With the SPP Custom Download, customers can:
Reduce the size of the SPP by including only the firmware, drivers, and system software that are needed for a specific computing environment (e.g., firmware, driver, and system software updates for all ProLiant DL servers running Windows 2012) Download HPE pre-created and validated SPPs that have the firmware, driver, and system software updates of the MSB, Hot fixes, and OS Supplements already included in the SPP Create an individualized, custom SPP based on customer-specific needs (e.g. Firmware updates for ProLiant DL380 Gen 9 servers).
The SPP Custom Download requires an HPE Passport ID and valid warranty / service agreement.
The SPP Custom Download does not replace the traditional SPP release or HP SUM’s Custom Baseline capability.
