4. It is best to remove the connecting piece of the three-phase motor during the measurement, the shell is grounded, we will edit the bottom terminals of the three windings, U, V, W from left to right.
5. The first step: measure the insulation resistance between the three-phase output terminal and the housing, E contacts the motor housing, L contacts the U, V, W terminals, shake the handle quickly (120 revolutions per minute), wait for the pointer to stabilize at infinity The insulation is good when nearby.
6. The second step: measure the insulation between the three contacts of U, V and W. Measure once every two, and the three sets of data pointers are infinity, which means good insulation.
7. It can be measured if the connecting piece is not removed. This is the difference between star-shaped and angled wiring. When star-shaped, the resistance between the three points U, V, W and the neutral point can be measured. The three groups of similar resistance values ​​are Good, the U, V, W three points are measured two by two in the shape of a corner, and the resistance is close to good. It is more accurate to measure the resistance value with a multimeter, and measure the resistance to ground at the same time.
Overview of other detection motors:
1. Shake the meter, shake the meter at 500V. The insulation resistance of the wires on the three terminals to the motor housing should be above 0.5M ohms, indicating that there is no short circuit to ground.
2. Multimeter measurement: measure the resistance between U, V, W three phases, whether they are equal, should be similar, too much difference can also be transferred, but it is not long, remember that the larger the motor, the smaller the resistance! But it can't be 0 ohm for all three phases, unless you are particularly large, such as a motor above 50KW! Remember that if it is a speed-regulated motor, the resistance of the 6 terminals can be different.
3. Check the bearings and fans. Generally, you can replace the motor if you wrap it around! Because sometimes the bearing will burn and the motor will burn.
4. The no-load current of the motor is generally 10% to 50% of the rated current.
5. When the rated current of the motor is running, it is running at full load, and the output power is basically 100%. If the running current is small, it means that the output power of the motor becomes small and it is running under light load.
