Ancient Belief Related to Aquarius

The story of Samudra Manthan is popular in relation to Aquarius. According to this legend, once in ancient times, due to the curse of Maharishi Durvasa, heaven was shriveled, that is, the opulence, wealth, splendor was eliminated from heaven.

Then all the gods went to Lord Vishnu. Vishnuji suggested him to churn the ocean together with the Asuras. He told that nectar will be extracted from the churning of the sea, all the gods will become immortal by drinking nectar.

When the gods told this to Bali, the king of the Asuras, they too agreed to churn the ocean. In this churn, Vasuki Nag’s leader was formed and the sea was churned with the help of Mount Mandarachal.

There were 14 gems in the Samudra Manthan. Among these gems were Kalkut venom, Kamadhenu, Uchcharava horse, Airavat elephant, Kaustubha Mani, Kalpavriksha, Apsara Rambha, Mahalakshmi, Varuni Devi, Moon, Parijat tree, Panchajanya conch, Lord Dhanvantari came out with nectar Kalash in his hands. You need to do is to pack your bag and hire a cab service in Haridwar for Outstation Taxi through Chiku cab

When the Amrit Kalash came out, all the gods and demons wanted to follow it. There was a war between gods and demons for nectar. During this time, drops of nectar from Kalash fell at four places Haridwar, Prayag, Nashik, and Ujjain. This war lasted for 12 years, so Kumbh Mela is held once every 12-12 years at these four places. In this fair, saints and devotees of all the Akhadas take bath in the holy rivers here.
