The Miami Dolphins are coming off a 10-6 season http://www.billsshopofficial.com/shop-by-players-preston-brown-jers... and their first playoff appearance since 2008, but they are not satisfied. Coach Adam Gase has created a new culture within the Dolphin community, a culture that has the players and fans believing. Miami’s trend of “rewarding within” means that the roster will look nearly the same, but will the performance? Here is a look at some bold predictions for the 2017 season.
Ryan Tannehill will have the best TD/Int ratio of his career
Ryan Tannehill is entering his sixth year as the starting quarterback and fans are getting impatient with his progression. Due to his season ending injury last year, he posted a career low in passing yards but a career high in passer rating. Tannehill’s best season for TD/Int radio was in 2014 when he posted a 27/12, a 2.25 TD/Int ratio. Now that Ajayi is taking some of Tannehill’s load, I can see him posting a TD/Int ratio between 2.5-3.0.
DeVante Parker will post new highs in receptions and yards
Typically, you see the biggest jump from wide http://www.buccaneersprostore.com/cool-prices-clinton-mcdonald-98-j... receivers in their third year. Is this the year DeVante Parker makes a leap? Due to a foot injury during his rookie year, Parker only played in eight games. In the final six games of the 2015 season, Parker racked up 22 catches, 445 yards, and three touchdowns. Projected over 16 games, that equates to 59 catches, 1,187 yards, and eight touchdowns. Parker was showing his first-round talent. In 2016, Parker took strides forward, playing 15 games and posting 56 receptions. Parker has shown how reliable his hands are but the numbers he is putting up are very inconsistent. Coach Adam Gase has called out Parker publicly for his inconsistent play. There may not be a bigger bust candidate on the Miami roster than DeVante Parker. I believe that Parker will deliver. I can see him with 65-70 receptions and over 800 yards.
The Miami Dolphins will win at least 10 games
The Miami Dolphins have one of the hardest schedules going into 2017. With games against the AFC West, Baltimore, and the usual two against the Patriots, the schedule does not favor Miami. Miami is projected to have seven Larry Csonka Youth Jersey wins and their off-season has been given the grade of a “D,” but being underrated is something Miami is used to. I believe Miami will use this as motivation. When healthy, there is nearly no team Miami can’t compete with.
The Offensive Line will allow less than 25 Sacks
The O-line is the most criticized position by Miami fans. Every game in 2016 seemed to have a different lineup. Despite the criticism, Miami had a top ten Offensive line. They ranked tenth in sacks allowed, ninth in rushing yards and eighth in yards per rush. They allowed fifteen less sacks than the 2015 line that allowed 45 sacks. With the addition of Asiata, moving Tunsil to his original position and a lot of line depth, Miami looks to be set. The front office even sent out a message in early May telling fans to stop worrying about the guards.
The three-headed monster will record at least 20 sacks
Cameron Wake is coming off a 11.5 sack season. Andre Branch is coming off a 5.5. That equals 17. Who could add three more sacks? Charles Harris. Miami fans are worried about his role due to the depth at the defensive end position, but I Montee Ball Authentic Jersey believe that he will cause some trouble to opposing quarterbacks, even as a backup.
