is good , do buy. So I've played this game a little over the weekend (only three hours I know!) I did enjoy this game a great deal, I will play it more next weekend, I'm sure. It's very sweet, funny and charming. It is also quite addictive as there is the urge to just do one more quest. It's a quirky game and it really appeals to me. It seems that this is early access which hopefully means they'll add more levels and things. I'm not close to finished with the game (I think) but it will be interesting to see what they do with it.. It's fun. It has a LOT more gameplay depth than "Reigns", with which it shares the swipe left \/ right mechanic as well as a tongue-in-cheek medieval theme.

It has rogue-like mechanics; you build a team of people based on humorous Tinder \/ Internet stereotypes wedged into medieval caricatures, choose a quest, then progress through a series of dilemmas in which you choose which of these adventurers attempts to resolve the problem. Morale goes up or down depending on your success, and is also affected by the interactions between the party members; your final success chance is greatly influenced by how high you manage to push your morale during the quest stage. Finish, and you can try to "friend" a member of your party to form the core of your next group, and move on to the next stage. Continue succeeding, and you can do another major quest. You fail when you run out of gold, and can start a new game. There are some upgrade mechanics along the way, in which you must risk the benefits of the upgrades versus the cost in gold.

There is no saving, only auto-saves on node completion.

Some of the character classes are baffling to me, and I'm not sure whether they are ever a good idea to have on the adventure; I found myself gravitating to the same classes on each play-through and avoiding others. I haven't played that much yet, however, so it's possible I'm just seeing early encounters that require specific skills.

I would rather play it on a tablet given the choice, but it appears only to be on the PC at the moment.

It would be nice to see the game engine used with a more serious story and dialogue, but the humor version is okay. It's probably funnier if you've used Tinder (I have not).. Really simple game whose complexity, price, and mechanics ought to align with a mobile platform rather than being put on pc. Horrifically overpriced. Shouldn't be selling for more than $0.99. Play Reigns instead, which is priced appropriately and better fleshed out. First game I am ever requesting a refund on.

The basic economic engine is now re-integrated with the game, and there is a day / night cycle which uses the new lighting system.

The first available structure is a fully automated vegetable growing salad bar!

The future is now?

More structures are on the way very soon, as well as a bit more polish on the interaction sounds and visual feedback.

Ahoy!

The first major update is now live, and players can start using the new sector building functions in the world map. There's also a brand new economic engine and new resources to collect.

The following is a summary of the changes included in the Feb 5th, 2018 update. There are many smaller elements which may have been added, scrapped, or otherwise modified over course of development, but these are the broad strokes.

Future patch notes will likely move closer to being a more detailed account of smaller tweaks, fixes, and balance changes as the game's larger features/functions are solidified.

At this stage, however, I believe it's more useful to talk about those larger scale things that are changing, rather than provide an exhaustive list of minor things.
