Omega should be commended for really making Planet Ocean watch faces better and better. The white gold hands and hour markers pop nicely against the matte background, ensuring excellent readability, while various luminous colors provide admirable visibility in the dark.
Like the 44mm wide Speedmaster case, the 45mm wide Planet Ocean case translates quite well to steel ceramic. The matte finish has a serious 'tool-watch' feel to it, which is beneficial to the theme Omega is going for here (dark and serious, but meant for fun). I will say it is a very different flavor than I am used to in the Planet Ocean family, but I think Omega has done well, and even at this high price, Omega easily competes with offerings from even more prestigious priced brands. So what you get is a timepiece that is, yes, expensive for an Omega, but also very cheap for a Blancpain, Hublot, or Audemars Piguet. This is a hot, luxury sports replica watches, and I just hope that people can include the Omega name in the upper echelons of luxury sports Swiss replica watches where the brand does sometimes belong.

Although it measures 45.5mm wide and the watch is quite thick at 17.18mm, the sharply tapered lugs make the watch a good fit for most wrist sizes. I haven't really seen the replica Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean GMT Deep Black models with the more polished surfaces, but I've seen the polished ceramic dial on other models and feel that those shinier Deep Black models are more traditional with the larger Planet Ocean family.
