The truth is: extremely high pressure does not result in significantly higher yields. In fact, too much pressure will actually push undesirable material (like as lipids and inert organic particles) into your rosin press . The result is a lower quality output.

As our experiment showing, you do still get an increase in yield with in increase in pressure, but it is a slight increase. And the possibility of pushing fats, lipids and chlorophyll into your rosin also increases with the increase in pressure, which could lead to a decrease in quality.
