Realizing that the FBI and their by the book tactics may be unsuccessful, the Chinese consul recruits the aid of a loyal Hong Kong inspector to help rescue his kidnapped daughter. Outlawed by the FBI, the inspector must form an unlikely partnership with a cocky, street smart LAPD officer who prefers doing things his own way.
Cultures clash and tempers flares as the two cops named Detective Inspector Lee a Hong Kong Detective and Detective James Carter FBI, a big-mouthed work-alone Los Angeles cop who are from different worlds discovers one thing in common: they can't stand each other. With time running out, they must join forces to catch the criminals and save the eleven-year-old Chinese girl of the Chinese consul named Soo Yung.
It was the comedy and the action that made this film great. Chris Tucker as Det. Carter with a big mouth and Jackie Chan as Det. Lee make Lethal Weapon 4 look like a girl scout cookie. What was different from this film and Rush Hour 2 was the actually plot that made it interesting to watch, not to mention Jackie Chan kicking ass as he and detective carter try to get bad guys.

3 stars I rented this movie at a blockbuster store, and while I was watching this movie. It was funny and it was great. I also liked the part when Jackie Chan, use his kartie stunts, he sure does a great job on that and it was excellent and yes Chris Tuckers, was funny and I love it and I think they should be partners forever. So that is my thoughts and I give this movie a thumb up, and talk to you soon everyone!!!
The stunts are great but they make sense and don't blow the sense of reality of the whole movie.
