Okay as a puzzle game and okay as a story. As a puzzle game, it's an interesting style of puzzle that mostly works well, but a lot of the solutions are non-deterministic & have multiple solutions despite the game having tracking for perfect clears, which can lead to frustration. And the + mechanic introduced about halfway in also leads to some puzzles where the only real solution is trial and error (especially since those puzzles often are the ones with really large solution pools). Another irritation is the spinning connector mechanic, in that often I would click right on the tiny circle to spin the connectors and OOPS placed or removed a block instead, usually killing my perfect clear. Story-wise it's interesting enough though also a bit vague and not really that engaging, I was definitely playing for the puzzles more than the gameplay. Also, with how small the text gets on some levels the blur effect made it hard to read the numbers. I turned it off eventually. I'd say check it out if it's on sale, it's got a decent amount of content for the low price as-is but it's not as polished of a puzzle game as similar games like Hexcells. Just go play Hexcells instead, actually.. extremely boring and repetetive puzzles that you have to slug through to get no payoff at all. The puzzles are repetative and it was very poorly translated to english. Alot of the sentences you have to decipher what you think she means, and in a game thats entire story is told through chat logs, thatnkind of ruins it.. This game really affected me emotionally. I felt like I was reading a real person's messages. And that person was my ex! Honestly, the way she spoke, or should I say wrote, is very similar to the way she would write with me (not a native English speaker). Even the stories were incredibly similar right down to her ultimate fantasy. Even the way the girl in the art looks is very similar, which is actually one of the things that drew me to the game. I know it's most likely a coincidence, but just being brushed with those emotions again was tremendously affecting. I found myself deeply involved in the game as such, pushing my way through each puzzle as quickly as I could. I found the puzzles rather annoying at times, but ultimately rather satisfying. Sometimes I could breeze through them, and sometimes I got stumped and was forced to think things through a little more carefully. I would describe the puzzle game as a bit like minesweeper. In terms of value, I would say I got mine. I purchased the game for 35 baht (1USD) and sold the trading cards to get back about 10 baht which brought the price down to 25 baht total. That's cheaper than a large bag of Lays chips here in Thailand. I do wish I could read Tom's messages too. I think it's only fair.. I liked the visuals and puzzles, that's about it. The puzzles got repetitive and the story was pretty boring. While reading interpretations helped get a better grasp of what was going on, it did not help make me less disappointed. The ending is too abrupt. Also, the dialogue feels unnatural and dampens the immersion. I understand that the devs' mother tongue is not english but to put this bluntly, they messed up the translations. All things considered, this game is worth trying if you are into puzzles like sudoku but don't expect anything else.. Simply amazing, excellent writting and desing. From begging to end this game made me think to solve it's challenges and it would never hold your hand. I played this game probably way more than what I should have but is just to good. If you want a short puzzle game with a facinating story, give this game a chance.. 11/10 Inmersive as f*ck Really loved the game. I was so into the story that I found myself looking for every bit of information that there was. Never played a game like this.
