The PVC door is probably one of the most common types of door in use today, they are ridged and strong, last a long time and they are very secure.

Because PVC doors are thermally good insulators compared to other types of door and because they have a seal and are draft free you will find that they are very energy efficient and as a result can save you money on your heating bills as you will need less heat to warm your house as less escapes.
PVC doors are extremely robust and strong; if you require an even stronger door then you can get panels which embed either hard wood panels or steel into the door panel which can prevent them from being kicked through.
The PVC door is a very simple affair to fix, you would get the door in plumb and level, pack it, use foam filler to fix it in place and close all gaps and you would then drill and fix with long frame fixer screws. This is an easy process and it shouldn't take more than a morning to fix a door like this.
The locks on plastic doors are quite advanced, they have multipoint locking with shoot bolts that lock into the frame when you lift up the handle, this makes it very difficult to break through these doors.
Whilst aluminum door can have some condensation trouble this is not the case with the PVC variety, these don't seem to suffer from condensation problems at all.
Because of the seal which operated when the handle of the door is lifted up PVC doors will cancel out a large amount of outside noise and this is just one further benefit.
