The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forwards Joseph Blandisi and Jake Lucchini from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forwards Riley Barber and Phil Varone.

The Canadiens announced that both Blandisi and Lucchini will report to the AHL's Laval Rocket.

Blandisi has skated in 23 video games with the Penguins this season, posting two goals and five points. He provides six goals and 14 factors in 26 AHL games this year. The 25-year-previous was a sixth-round draft pick of Soccer Iron On Transfers the Colorado Avalanche in 2012.

Lucchini, 24, has seven goals and 15 points in 53 online games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this season, his first full yr in the league.
