Tips for successful office relocation

Office moves are extremely stressful, especially if you can't stop the whole process on the go. Still, with the right planning and the right attitude, your business will be one with minimal hassles for your employees and your customers. Will move from one office to another. And according to some experts in the client industry, you should do this as soon as possible.

Tell employees ASAP
When you have signed a lease for new office space, send a memo or have a meeting to let your employees know that the office will be up and running. Even if the new location is close to your current office, some employees may need time to find alternative transportation if they rely on the train or bus to get to work. Moving just a few miles could mean that an employee who now regularly goes to work on a bike needs to get a car or find another way to get there. So give them maximum notice.

Make an appointment for electronics as soon as possible.
Call your phone company, your internet provider, and your IT department as soon as you have a permanent running date to meet with both. Once you move, you'll need phones and computers, and you'll need to get up and to run as soon as possible. Please do not turn off the phone service in your previous office unless you are sure the phone system is working the way it should in your new office.

Station people in both offices
It would help if you had a manager on both sides of the office during this move. A manager can keep an eye on things in your actual office and adjust a load of boxes while ensuring that the business is still performing the way it should. At the new location, the employee can monitor the unloading and packing of boxes and luggage, make sure the items are in the right place, and ensure that anyone who needs them is provided with a freight lift and another safe. Access places, It will be very smooth with someone at any end of the move to keep an eye on things.

Run the Skelton crew
The last thing you need while walking is getting in the way of a lot of people. If you can't completely shut down the business all day long, run the company with the least staff and leave the other. You should have one person to answer the phone and take care of the customers as well as the supervisor on-site, but you will not need more people than that. When employees move, they can unpack from their desk and set up their workspace the next day.

Clean as much as you can
Moving your business activities is a big excuse that doesn't work on all those old computers, phones that don't work and other problems and endings that have been accumulating for years. Make sure any electronics are properly recycled.
