Insert the screw through the top of the floor doorstop. Then Screw the doorstop with the bumper facing toward the door away from the wall. Screws

Put the same measure of circular mark around the catch piece on the door with the pencil.

Hinge doors are installed by fixing the pin from the hinge through the hole in the stop. The hinge pins are adjustable to fit the door space you want. Spending five minutes installing one now can save you time and money.

Things you need

A screwdriver
Hammer
How to

Step 1

Choose the type of hinge pin you want.

Step 2

Close the door. Slide the tip of the screwdriver under the head of the hinge pin on the door’s upper hinge. Shove the hinge pin up and remove it. If necessary, tap the screwdriver gently with a hammer to lever the pin up.

Step 3

Insert the hinge pin into the hole in the stopper assembly from above.. Slide the pin back into the hinge. This brings about the stopper assembly resting on top of the hinge and the pin holding it in place. Tap the pin carefully with the hammer into the hinge to fix it properly if necessary.

Step 4

Turn the screw attached to the rubber bumper by hand to adjust the door’s highest angle of swing. Open the door to test the setting, and readjust it as necessary until the door stops where you want it to.
