How to Forward Your Outlook Email to Gmail

It is quite inconvenient to check different inboxes on a daily basis. What if you sign in to a particular email account and check all the emails? You can do this by forwarding your Outlook email to Gmail.

Steps for Forwarding Your Outlook Email to Gmail

• Go to Microsoft Outlook.

• Choose the File option.

• Click on the Rules and Alerts option.

• Choose the email Rules and New Rules option.

• Choose the “Apply rule on messages I receive” option.

• Click on the Next option.

• Choose the “Forward it to people or distribution list” option.

• Press on the Next option.

• Type the email ID linked with the Gmail account at the end.

• On that window, you will get the “To” option.

• You will get this option in the Rule Address menu.

• Start adding the exceptions in the other window.

• After that, press on the Next option.

• Enter a name for the rule.

• Go through the “Turn on this rule” option.

• Choose the Finish option.

Steps for Forwarding Gmail to Outlook

• Sign in to the Gmail account.

• Choose the cog symbol.

• This symbol is located at the upper right-hand side.

• Choose the Settings tab.

• Choose the Forwarding option.

• After that, choose the POP-IMAP option.

• Choose the “Add a Forwarding Address” option.

• This option is given on the upper side.

• Type the email ID linked with the Outlook account.

• Choose the Next option.

• Choose the Filters and Blocked Addresses option.

• Choose the “Create New Filter” option.

• Go to the upper side of the display.

• Type the email ID registered with the Gmail account.

• Start adding a filter.

• Choose the Create Filter option.

• Choose the Forward It To option.

• Choose the Create Filter option.

Steps for Sending and Receiving Your Outlook Email from Within Gmail

• Sign in to Gmail.

• Choose the cog symbol.

• You will get this symbol at the upper right-hand side.

• Click on the Settings tab.

• Click on the Accounts option.

• Click on the Import option.

• Choose the Check mail option.

• This option should be chosen from any other accounts.

• Choose the Add a POP3 option.

• Enter the email ID associated with Outlook.

• Choose the Next Step option.

• Type the email ID of Outlook once again.

• Type the registered password with Outlook.

• Go through all the boxes apart from Archive option.

• Choose the Add Account option.

• Go through the “Yes to I want to be able to see email as” option.

• Type the name.

• Press on the Next Step option.

• Type your SMTP server information of the Outlook.

• Choose the Add Account option.

• Go through the Outlook email.

• Type the Verification code.

• Choose the Verify option.
