Know how to say:" no"

Accepting proposals or requests from your employees is a highly appreciated quality. Some queries, however, remain out of reach and out of proportion. In this case, you think you have to say no and you will be
right! Do not accept all claims, a good leader must know how to say no! If it's
not easy to know how to refuse, do not forget that the boss is you! The choices
come back to you and you stay in the best position to know what is good or bad
for the company. Do not hesitate to say NO!

Being attentive

A pleasant atmosphere that allows you to work in a good mood requires listening and dialogue. Why? The answer is simple! In the event that one of your employees faces a difficulty, for example, finding the door of your
office closed will send him a negative sign, demotivate him in his work and
could decrease his productivity. Apart from these aspects, taking time for them
shows that you take into account their needs, that you remain open to dialogue
and that you are simply human! By trying to understand and help them, they will
feel better and develop a sense of trust towards you. Take the opportunity to
ask them if they need anything to make their job easier. This simple gesture
could be very useful.

Stay organized and objective

Managing your business is important, but to do this, a number of factors come into play. At the top of the list, the organization! Managing your schedule well to keep your business running is essential. Predicting a
realistic goal and implementing a workable agenda are the foundation of good
organization. Staying objective keeps your feet on the ground. You imagine
imposing a task that must be completed for the next day when it cannot be? Of
course not! A good boss knows it, the organization is part of the keys to
success!

Position yourself as a good leader with convictions

"Can you imagine a boss without convictions and who is not respected?" says Rami Beracha . Not great in terms of credibility! You must live up to your convictions. As the head of your business, it is your
responsibility to determine the direction to follow. Feel free to share your
dreams and ambitions about the future of your company. Your employees will
share them with you. As a leader, to achieve your goals, your leadership and
even leadership qualities are helpful. Take into account the feedback of your
employees but do not make friends with them. Keep a minimum distance from your
hierarchical relationships! Put in place a good management to optimize
productivity and be firm in your decision making.

Respect your own rules

The regulation, which ensures the smooth running of your company, must be respected by everyone, including you! In the case where the latter forbids smoking inside the premises, it goes without saying that, if you
are a smoker, you cannot break the rule and grill one inside the office.
Because of your status, you must comply with these rules all the more because
you must set an example for your employees. Not going against them shows some
form of respect for them and invites others to do the same.

Adapt in all circumstances

In your daily life, you face different situations, as varied as each other, and appeal to your different talents of adaptation. Being able to adapt to these different situations is an essential quality for any good
leader. You can cope very well with a financial, strategic or internal problem.
So many difficulties that are part of your daily lot.

Congratulate your employees

An employee who gives everything possible to reach or even exceed the targets or simply does good work is to be commended. Saying to employees that you are satisfied with the tasks they have done may seem trivial
but still necessary. This is a simple action that can show them that you
appreciate what they do and motivate them further. If it remains important to
point out the negatives, highlight the positive aspects is even more. Regularly
compliment your employees when they deserve it!
