The Gazelle Blau (blue) had a microcell ripple sole. Microcell technology incorporated small air bubbles into the rubber which offered a more cushioned impact on landing and the ripple effect offered firm footing on indoor surfaces.

Next to join the reunion adidas gazelle red is the slight alteration of the DNA, the Gazelle Super.Aesthetically it may ring a few bells, with it’s side branding patch baring resemblance to that used on the Samba Super of the same era.
