Final Fantasy 14 developers make the essential game content "more compact" for new players

Final Fantasy XIV has been excellent for many years, and with each expansion, the player base is growing. However, entering a long-running MMO and catching up with the current content is still a daunting task for some potential players, so Square Enix hopes to solve this problem by making the A Realm Reborn scene "more compact."

Many MMOs have tried catch-up mechanisms for new players. Some people sell single-use level upgrades, while others offer XP upgrades for old tasks to help improve content faster. Final Fantasy XIV does provide a level of improvement, but they are expensive and not available to FFXIV Gil. In addition, some new players may still want to experience the full story, but it involves less wear and tear.

During the latest developer Final Fantasy XIV live broadcast, the team confirmed that it "is working hard to adjust A Realm Reborn's main scene to be more compact." It remains to see what this rework will bring, but it seems to be part of Square Enix working with the new game+ mode.

Patch 5.3 will not be available for a while, so this update will still take a few months. However, this is worth looking forward to, especially if you are a new player who wants to enter Final Fantasy XIV for the first time. Remember to pay attention to the MMOAH website two days after the update, and they will have a discount on Final Fantasy 14 Gil.

KitGuru said: I have been playing a lot of Final Fantasy XIV recently to catch up with Shadowbringers. It is a tremendous promise, but hopefully, the rework of this base game content will cut some fat and make the process easier. Even after A Realm Reborn, there is still a lot to go through, because Heavensward, Stormblood and now Shadowbringers each raise the upper limit of the new story activity.
