I used the query: Select Version from CIM_Datafile Where Name = 'c:\\windows\\system32\\wuapi.dll', but get no results.

I got as a result CIM_DataFile=
I tried this query and it looks like the version may not be populated as a criteria for the group as WMI is unable to get the Version of the file.

Does someone know how to query fileversion (or creationdate) correctly?
Someone responded in this thread and tested the same query in wbemtest and got the "nokey" result. I tried too, with the same result.
Should the be a "GetObject" in the (wbemtest) query as well?

My purpose with this query is to populate dynamic groups in MS System Center. That can be done using Registry queries and WMI Queries. In this case I need a WMI query. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/systemcenterinvent.... I used the above query with the Namespace CIMv2 and storing property name "Version"
