I downloaded the windows version and it gave me an error so I had to change the folder to "Studio one pro" instead of "Studio one" for the install. Now it reads Version 1.6.5 when I load up, does that sound right?

Start about halfway down. Not sure if this is your issue but PreSonus has not made this clear: You don't update with 64 bit updates just because you are running a 64 bit OS - S1A is a 32 bit program as installed form disc so update it with a 32 bit update.

Studio One Artist does not support MP3, you need Pro for it.
When I go to " My software " I just get a huge list, there is not link that says version 1.6.5 other than the manual. Do I just download " Studio one for Windows ?" Is that the 1.6.5 version ?

French and Spain language. nice but. better try to expand posibilities of you software like multi midi clip edit, better Audio Unit compatibility. I'd like to group track etc. Soft: Presonus Studio One Pro, Ableton Live 8, NI Traktor Pro, NI Komplete 8, D16 Phoscyon + some free plugs.

So far the program is cool, I made some really neat little drum beats but figuring out the whole update thing is not hard but more seems lacking of correct tags to let me know what I am looking at when looking for something specific. I would recommend putting the patch #’s after stuff.

I was running a previous version from when I got this program new in March. it was working fine until yesterday (hadn't updated yet). My program wont play loops, wont playback songs, cant get effects to work in ampire. the play light turns green but the song time bar doesn't move.

I also installed S1A and tried to update. make sure you are installing/updating the correct version. S1A installs in one place and the 64 bit update will install in a completely different location.
