Gone is the trilogy that was finished up towards the end of last-gen. This time around, the Prince is returning to his Middle Eastern heritage in an entirely new saga. The concept art provided to GamesRadar seems to implicate that the Prince will utilize an armored gauntlet. Just what this gauntlet is used for remains unclear; though speculation could range anywhere from magical capabilities to wielding customizable weaponry. The Prince’s new look bears an uncanny resemblance to Strider Hiryu also. Albeit, with a more Eastern-themed flair.
We haven’t heard much in regards to the Prince of Persia franchise as of late. Instead, most of the attention seems to be directed towards Ubisoft’s latest effort: Assassin’s Creed. However, by way of GamesRadar, a Ubisoft leak provided some tantalizing information about the upcoming Prince of Persia title.
Unfortunately, there isn’t any additional info to report. Nevertheless, hopefully some more news comes our way soon.
