The exam takes 150 minutes. If your mother tongue is not English you are allowed 30 minutes more. I read on some ressources that you have to hurry because you don’t have time during exam. 5. The day of the exam.
The Prince2 Practitioner exam contains 8 questions — 10 question items per question, that have to be solved in 120 minutes (2 h 1/2). You need to score at least 55% (44/80 correct answers) in order to pass the exam.
Get the ‘Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2’ manual by Axelos in Amazon (around $90). It is the only material you are allowed to use during the exam. I registered for MPlaza PRINCE2 Practitioner Self-Study and the exam (around $400). The training material was very comprehensive, nice structured. This is the best material on the market and I highly recommend it! Once registered on Mplaza platform I watched ‘An Introduction to PRINCE2’ by Frank Turley at MPlaza PRINCE2 Practitioner Self-Study site, which is a series of 12 v >Annex A and Annex C . Once I felt ready for the exam I booked my exam at Peoplecert , using the voucher offered by Mplaza. I highly advice you do it at least one week before the exam just to make sure you find a suitable timetable for you (take the exam in the morning or at noon rather than 11 P.M.).
3. Listen to motivational speeches.
Unfortunately you are NOT allowed to use a printer to print your business case. I bought a printer only for this exam, but I was told that the exam papers are confidential and cannot be printed. Don’t worry! The PeopleCert interface is very friendly and you can easily read both the business case and the questions in the same time.
At the beginning of the exam the supervisor from PeopleCert checked my passport, asked for a 360 degrees view of my room by rotating my laptop, making sure that there are no other persons in the room. You are only allowed with the official Manual — Managing Successful Projects with Prince2 by Axelos, A4 white papers, pencils and water.
You will get the diploma per e-mail in the next 1–3 days.
Try to finish you recap before 6 p.m. Your brain needs to relax and allow you mind be sharp to give the maximum result on the day of the exam. If you are too tired on the day of the exam you might not remember the information that you know. I advice you to take a walk or watch some funny videos. Your goal is to use the knowledge you accumulated during these weeks/months.
Until the end of 2017 you have the choice to chose between: A. Enroling for the 2009 version certification (val >B . The new version 2017 — the exam is easier but the Prince2 Practitioner certificate is valid only for 3 years.
Don’t change your answer after finishing the exam — it can be tricky! I know you might be tempted to change your answers because you get are insecure. After two hours of exam you are already tired so you can rather go wrong.

To be sincere, I had many days when I felt extremely tired after coming back from work and the first instinct was to be a couch potato. But through listening to ‘ Fearless motivation ’ and ‘ WakeUpTime ’ playlists on Spotify I suddenly felt so happy and determined to go back to my desk and and continue studying.
Allow yourself to take breaks when you’re tired. It is more effective to take 1–2 days break if you are tired. Remember: everything that you study you should do it with pleasure or not do it at all! Otherwise, you will not be able to focus and after a few hours you can’t remember what you have read.
