Toronto Maple Leafs acquired defensive depth on Monday, obtaining Calle Rosen from the Colorado Avalanche for goaltender Michael Hutchinson.

Rosen was traded simply by the Leafs to the Avalanche last July in the offer that noticed Tyson Barrie and Alex Kerfoot sign up for the Leafs.
