In addition to Syed’s reply, you may check with the motherboard manufacturer directly to verify that the latest audio driver for your motherboard is installed and then check the issue.
You may also check with Realtek and relay the chipset type to verify that the latest Windows 7 compatible driver for your chipset is installed.
