Barber was a huge part of the Broad Street Bullies, because the Philadelphia Flyers were called in the 1970s. He helped Philadelphia win the Stanley Cup in 1974 and 1975. Barber then had his best time of year in 1975-76 with 50 goals and 112 points, earning him a spot on the NHL Initial All-Star Team for the only time (he was named to the Second Group in 1979 and 1981).
