That's rather easy to reply. The majority of us have a simplistic view of how businesses operate. They think that they know because they operate in one, what happens. Which does not give them much info in classic gold any way. Decisions are made at the higher levels in large companies. So they go with the couple of things that they can see. And you get the usual threads here. The programmer and/or publisher are doing good if they enjoy a game. The developer/or writer is bad and incompetent When they don't like it. It is always an incredibly superficial look at matters without a true understanding on how things work or some actual information about what goes on in these companies.Forgot to mention the incredibly biased opinion people usually have as well.

Oh, man, I had been thinking the same thing as I read through this thread. Felt like deja vu watching ATVI because the significant boogyman setting down the devs of your favorite game. Yeah, there is no denying that Activision is shit, it's a giant video game publishing megacorp, what can you expect? But community the absolutely horrendous management of the game, and standard response to fuckups - thats still on the shoulders of the people running WOW Classic.

Nah, I had been involved in the true WOW Classic beta back prior to WOW Classic was started back the level cap was 39 along with when there was only one server. There is a difference in customer support from back today and then. Sure, it's a for profit company but if it had been popular and they had been adding servers left and right for its rush of WOW players in launch, it wasn't so excruciating. You used to be able to acquire an unintentionally deleted character or item back if you sent in a ticket (after a while that was limited to a definite number of times every year). You used to get'unstuck' instead of needing waste your hearth and to be instakilled through the port, if you're stuck in a GM. There were a great deal of'player' rules about GM interaction that are only gone now.

That is. Blizzards policy has been to perform substantial ban waves rather than banning robots individually. This leads to situations where people are reporting a bot that's farming valuable mats and nothing happens for weeks, which naturally pisses off the player base and just supports the bot operators since they know theyll be able to repay the price of their CD key before finally getting prohibited.

The thing about that banning in waves system is that about being unfairly banned turn out to be full of shit, a lot banned then scream. They engaged in some other ban worthy behaviour before, or botted to farm months ago, best place to buy wow classic gold or even paid a power leveling service to level an alt weeks ago and believed they got away with it. Then, when the ban hammer does they throw a public tantrum trying to receive their account reinstated by creating Blizzard seem poor. Youll see them get called out with a CSR but generally Blizzard simply dismisses them.
