We are a horde guild that is on Dethecus (and 6/7 merged servers) and guild name is Hallows Eve. We are NOT a raiding guild of cheap classic gold although we do have a couple that operate lfr's together. This is all about having people that work and also have family's that don't feel pressured into"with" to log in to do anything unless they want to. Guild chat is usually pretty active and it's about just being on.

Its not because of those WOW players enjoying WOW Classic though. It's because WOW Classic right now is designed to be precisely that, a somewhat convoluted selfish RPG experience with hardly any MMO in it at all. It is fucking annoying that blizzard forgot exactly what MMO stands to get in their game and they've decided to basically ditch the community element of WOW Classic. Even worse is that they have started doing it back in anger of the king. They've gone up to now down the rabbit hole that they would need to literally re do the entire match to even make it plausible as an mmo.

The one thing that you"need" a guild for would be to do raiding, and even then if you're a godlike raid leader it is possible to get pugs in a discord server and voila, you're experiencing what a guild is. And today shadowlands, sure torghast is awesome, essentially a ninja like experience in a game, but 90 percent of the so called community will just do it solo, because it's less battle, as it is theoretically easier because you simply need to handle what you do. Meaning they've created a different single player experience among the core mechanics of the new xpac.

People talk about the way levelling in WOW Classic is the very best thing, fuck off, it is really the people around you, a few are dicks, some you make friends with and some you simply play WOW Classic for to be about. Whereas people in retail are NPCs, even fucking worse than NPCs because together you must interact after, with the majority of those WOW players that you don't need to.

Fuck me blizzard, you done fucked it up, might as well call your game only Warcraft since the World is a code phrase for single participant open world RPG experience (which is the majority of the times fantastic, annoyingly enough). Yeah the neighborhood is becoming super poisonous and it's all about immediate gratification. Even though there are a few WOW players such as me that remember the old times and keep in mind that feeling of being part of something. Take for example to buy wow gold only now there was this lvl 20 guy that asked me to duel (I'm lvl 120 btw) and that I was in the middle of doing some questing mostly just for reputation.
