It has signed many multi-years deals with reputed celebrities and creators, including Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Dre, Jason Katims, Monica Beletsky, and now Martin Scorsese.

The duo’s relationship with Scorsese and Dicaprio is one of the most financially successful collaborations in the movie industry. And the connection will help Apple TV+ to grow and reach more target audiences. The two have brought $1.3 billion earning from their five projects. Caprio considered Mean Streets and Taxi Driver as Scorsese’s best films and also inspirational. Robert DeNiro told Scorsese about Leonardo, Niro, and Caprio had worked together in the movie This Boy’s Life. The first collaboration of the actor-director pair was Gangs of New York, which was an incredible piece of art. In the 88th Academy Awards, Leonardo thanked Scorsese for being a guide in his acting journey. He said that he wants to thank Mr. Jones for casting him for his first movie and Mr. Scorsese for teaching him the cinematic art form.

Martin’s and Leonardo’s first film “Gangs of New York”, it was a documentary on Italian filmmakers titled “Mio Viaggio in Italia,” also known as My Voyage to Italy. The production budget of the film was $100 million. The movie was arguably Scorsese’s mainstream project of Scorsese. Scorsese too was having a tough time selling the film until Leonardo agreed for the role of protagonist Amsterdam Vallon. The film received positive word-of-mouth and was also critically acclaimed.

The last movie that the duo has done together is “The Wolf of Wall Street”. The film was based on the memoir of the same name by stockbroker Jordan Belfort. The movie was brilliant and broke several records. It did an outstanding performance at the box office. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Director and Best Picture. Leonardo DiCaprio also won a Golden Globe Award For Best Actor- Musical or Comedy. He was also nominated for the Oscar for the third time, but he lost to Matthew McConaughey. The film was the highest-grossing R-rated film, and it earned a gross $116.9 million in North America and collected around $392 million internationally.
