Baltimore Ravens heat transfers in Game 3 of the Western Conference

Marc-Andre Fleury is the starting goalie for the Vegas Golden Knights against the Chicago Blackhawks Baltimore Ravens heat transfers in Game 3 of the Western Conference First Round at Rogers Place in Edmonton on Saturday (NBC, CBC, SN). Fleury is replacing Robin Lehner, who won Games 1 and 2.

Fleury, who have started each of the Golden Knights' first 27 playoff games after they entered the NHL in 2017-18 and helped them reach the Stanley Cup Final in 2018, was last in goal for a 6-4 win against the St. Louis Blues on Aug. 6 in the round-robin portion of the Stanley Glass Qualifiers in Edmonton, the Western Conference hub city. He allowed four goals on 17 shots (.765 save percentage) against the Blues.

Video game 4 of the best-of-7 series is usually Sunday (6:30 p.m. ET).

Lehner hasn't lost a game since being acquired by the Golden Knights on Feb. 24 in a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs, who earlier that day acquired him from the Blackhawks.

Lehner is 4-0-0 this postseason with a 2.39 goals-against average and .907 conserve percentage after he was 3-0-0 for Reflective Decal Sticker Vegas in the regular season (1.67 GAA, .940 save percentage, one shutout).

Lehner played COVID-19 Iron On Transfer two of the three round-robin games for Vegas during the Qualifiers, winning 5-3 against the Dallas Stars on Aug. 3 and 4-3 in overtime against the Colorado Avalanche on Aug. 8. That win gave the Golden Knights the No. 1 seed in the West for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Chicago may be the No. 8 seed.

Fleury was 27-16-5 with a 2.77 GAA, a .905 conserve percentage and five shutouts in 49 games (48 starts) this regular season. He has played 143 NHL postseason games, most of any active goalie and fifth in NHL history, and received the Stanley Cup three times with the Pittsburgh Penguins (2009, 2016, 2017).
