Still Think You Don’t Need Men’s Shoes in Size 15 Wide for Dress

Those who need men’s’ shoes in size 15 wide don’t just need them on the job, in the field, and in the yard. Size 15 feet, just like extra-wide size 15 feet just seem to follow you around. You get away from them. You are what you are and you need to accommodate.

Now, while the need for work boots or hunting boots or hiking shoes or gym shoes that fit you perfectly might be readily apparent, it might not seem as obvious why you would need to get a pair of dress shoes that fit you properly. This idea is all the more seductive if you are one of those guys who rarely has a need for dress shoes. There are two ways of approaching this.

On the one hand, while it might seem reasonable that you don’t need a pair of dress shoes because you don’t need them for work every day, consider the fact that periodically through your life you’re going to have a need to dress your best. You might not wear them to work if you don’t work in an office, but somewhere along the line you’ll be invited to a wedding or some other black-tie event that all but requires you to dress the part.

Some guys might get a pair of sneakers in their size and just suck up the fact that they’re wearing sneakers with a tux or a full suit. If that works for you, it works for you, and we can’t tell you otherwise.

However, if you agree with the sentiment that you might need an occasional reserve pair of dress shoes to keep around for those special occasions, then it behooves you to get them. Here’s the other way of looking at it. Some guys might just go out and find a pair that is close to their size, or a size 15 but not a size 15 extra wide. You might think that since you only wear them once in a while it won’t really matter. It will.

Forget the fact that it will make you uncomfortable and might even predispose you to injury. We’re not concerned with that. We’re just concerned with the shoes. A pair of size 15s will run you as much as a pair in size 15 wide, and one will fit you where the other won’t.

In that case, expect the smaller ones to fall apart quickly. Dress shoes are not built like work boots. There are higher quality and lower quality models, but even the best of them are not meant to be beaten up. They are meant for show.

Wear a pair that is too small and you will stress the seams and stitching, tax the overall construction, and probably cause the soles to separate from the uppers prematurely. Then you’ll be left where you started - without men’s shoes in size 15 wide for dress.

Therefore, do yourself a favor and go where the guys with extra-large feet go - to XLfeet.com. Visit their website, check out their collection of dress shoes, get a pair that fits you, and be on your way.
