Cold lamination can keep your photos in great shape

It's a well-known fact that laminating yourphotographs can enhance them as well as keep them in good shape.Unfortunately, there's also a chance your photos could become damagedif you process them with using hot Blue Color Cutting Vinyl lamination. Luckily, there are ways to by pass hot lamination so you can keep your photos in great shape. Here are some things you should try: Cold lamination. As you already know, your photographs can be damaged by heat. That's why you need to turn down the heat when laminating. You can do this one of two ways: using a cold laminator or taking advantage of the cold setting on your device. No matter which method you choose, you will need to use pressure-sensitive laminating film or pouches. It's important to use supplies that will fully encapsulate your photographs so that they are adequately protected.
If you use a pouch or filmthat's a bit too large for your picture, just trim the excess with arotary trimmer or a craft knife and straight edge. Using self-sealing pouches. Ifyou don't have access to a laminator, using self-sealing pouches is agood idea. They come in a number of sizes so you can laminateeverything from wallet-sized snapshots to large portraits. To use aself-sealing pouch, place the photo inside one and use the alignmentgrid to properly center it. Peel the liner away so that the adhesive isexposed and they slowly apply the film to the photograph. Make sure yousmooth out any bubbles or wrinkles that show up. Again, you can trimaway excess film if there is any. Using clear contact paper. Another option is to use clear contact paper. You can use it just likeyou would a self-sealing pouch. Since clear contact paper usually comesin rolls, you can cut out a long piece and then place severalphotographs on it. (Make sure the photos don't overlap.)
Then, placeanother piece of contact paper on top of the pictures and cut them out. This method can help you save time if you need to laminate a lot ofphotographs in a hurry. Using synthetic paper. This final method isn't a laminating method, per se. In fact, iteliminates the need for laminating. Synthetic paper looks very similarto regular paper but it is actually made out of polyester, so it'sessentially plastic. This paper is waterproof and tearproof, plus itworks in color copiers and laser printers. You can just print yourdigital pictures on it and bypass lamination entirely. You need to becareful handling this paper though since it needs to stay in theoriginal packaging when it's not in use. Also, you need to cut thepaper after your pictures have been printed. Again, a rotary trimmerwill do the trick. As youcan see, there are a number of ways you can laminate photographswithout damaging them. And of course, there's one non-laminating methodyou can try that will still give you photographs that last a long time.Try one of these methods so you can enjoy your photographs for years tocome.
