My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't want to change blankets so I chose to attempt other ways. Here is what I tried and what seemed to work for me.

Warmer pajamas: I am used to wearing shorts and a t-shirt to bed. Or, sometimes, I'll use a hot camisole for my spouse and I to delight in. This winter season, I attempted using long sleeve pajamas. I really attempted different kinds. I tried the flannel pajamas. They were very warm and I felt excellent all night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket versus my body - something that I truly take pleasure water heat mattress pad in. Likewise, I didn't feel as attractive going to bed, something that I like to feel also, particularly with my husband sleeping next to me. Next, I tried using these silk pajamas. Heated blanket: Although I love my blankets, I chose to add a heated blanket beneath them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well. I was practically too hot and my hubby and I hesitated of starting a fire in the middle of the night considering that the blanket needed to be plugged in. While this choice was great, I decided I would just use it for times when I am resting on the couch and reading and need some extra heat. I'm keeping the blanket, however am not going to use it to go to sleep.

Cashmere bed socks: This was another option recommended to me by a good friend. In the beginning, when she discussed it, I had no concept what cashmere bed socks were. I learned that they specify socks that you can buy to wear to bed. Naturally, you do not need to purchase these socks and you can always simply use any pair of cotton socks to bed, however these are made specifically to keep your feet warm all night. I in fact attempted using these with my shorts and t-shirt and found that it made a substantial distinction in how warm I felt. Surprisingly, these worked truly well and I didn't need to fear a fire or change what I normally used. Of course using socks to bed felt a little foreign to me initially, but ultimately I got utilized to it.
