My blankets are not any warmer and I didn't desire to alter blankets so I decided to attempt other methods. Here is what I tried and what seemed to work for me.

Warmer pajamas: I am utilized to wearing shorts and a t-shirt to bed. Or, often, I'll use a sexy camisole for my spouse and I to enjoy. This winter, I tried using long sleeve pajamas. I in fact tried various kinds. Initially, I tried the flannel pajamas. They were very warm and I felt great all night. The only thing was that I didn't get to feel the softness of my down blanket versus my body - something that I really enjoy. Likewise, I didn't feel as appealing going to bed, something that I like to feel also, especially with my hubby sleeping next to me. Next, I tried using these silk pajamas. They absolutely felt soft to the touch, however weren't as warm as the flannel. It still worked better than a camisole or shorts and a tee shirt.

Heated blanket: Although I like my blankets, I decided bed warmer to include a heated blanket below them just for my body. The heated blanket worked too well.

Of course, you do not have to purchase these socks and you can always just use any set of cotton socks to bed, but these are made specifically to keep your feet warm all night. I really attempted using these with my shorts and tee shirt and found that it made a substantial distinction in how warm I felt. Of course using socks to bed felt a little foreign to me at first, but eventually I got used to it.
