The Air Valve is designed forautomatic discharge of accumulated air during normal working conditions also for automatic rapid pipe filling and pipe draining as well. The unique ‘Aerokinetic’ design, where air rushing out of the system cannot force the float upwards and close it prematurely, this makes sure that a valve closes only after all air has left the system and before the water has entered the chamber.
The overall other components are made by either a WRAS approved polymer material or stainless-steel material to minimize the risk of corrosion. Each and every ductile iron component has the layer of GSK approved fusion bonded epoxy it is just to ensure high durability of the valves. And all the seals are made of WRAS approved EPDM rubber with an excellent compression set and ability to convert it into its original shape.
