Global climate change is a defining moment in human history. It is affecting everybody including humans and earth-saving flora and fauna while affecting the planet with an extreme climate that has already brought havoc with floods, glacial calving, loss of coral reefs, etc.

The government has also started a go-getting plan National Electric Mobility Mission (NEMM) that will help the nation to build over 6-7 million electric vehicles. The plan includes collaboration with government agencies to obtain indigenous manufacturing, infrastructure, technology capabilities.

Amo Mobility Solutions was initiated on the same to deliver i.e. building quality, cost-effective Electric Bikes In India , which is also investing heavily in R&D to bring technology and advanced ideas to fill India’s demand for electric bikes and Electric Scooter . Amo Mobility, on par NEMM, is building awareness to help people adopt electric mobility in every niche.

Challenges with financing and retailing of EVs are still an issue but robustness is slowly picking up while many aspiring manufacturers can avail the benefits of India’s Rs 26,000 Cr PLI Scheme for auto manufacturing to accelerate EV startups.

Pushing more on technology innovation by EV manufacturers would also require them to make advanced Li-batteries while parties can benefit from $4.6 billion in incentives, as declared by the government, especially meant for battery makers. The challenges become more feasible with credit lending and startup funds from angels and VCs.

Amo Mobility is to fund $200 million over the next three years for R&D, product design, and national growth in order to meet its Paris Climate Summit targets by 2026.

The feature is written by Sushant Kumar, Serial Entrepreneur, CEO and MD of Amo Mobility, who carries a vast amount of experience in the auto sector. Sushant, a metallurgical and material science graduate from NIT Jamshedpur had a stint with auto giants like Tata Motors while he has traveled extensively in the APAC region as part of global sourcing.
