Looking at the current state of the industry, one might think that the passion for combining Patta several models and developing endless "remixes" of classics is the main scourge of the last decade. In fact, it all started earlier.

The clear proof is the Nike Air Max 90-360 from the 2006 One Time Only Pack. Creating a hybrid with a classic upper and an Air Max 360 sole seems like nothing special today, but at that time such a decision was radical and unprecedentedly bold.

Having taken the first timid steps in the "breeding" field, in 2009 Nike introduced one of the rarest and most valuable hybrids to date - the Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache.

It so happened that the model, which combined parts from the AM 90 and Air Huarache, was used for two spectacular collaborations - with HUF and DQM (Dave Quality Meats).

Both of them were introduced at the dawn of the era of collaborations, long before the general craze for them, and today they cost truly crazy money.

Since 2011, Nike has begun an era of experimentation with materials and methods of processing them, the results of which have affected all areas of the brand, including NSW (Nike Sportswear).

One of the first manufacturing innovations of the decade was the Vac Tech technology, thanks to which the individual parts of the sneaker were connected by vacuum compression without visible joints and seams.

The Patta brand immediately tried it on several iconic silhouettes, including the Air Max 90. As a result, several Air Max 90 VT were born at once with nubuck, suede, leather and felt uppers.
