Do Your Credit Cards Have the RFID Chip?

If they are fairly new, they probably do. And Documenting the Undocumented with RFID Chips or Cards

Here is an idea that came out of one of our recent thinking groups meetings regarding border security, which seems to be appropriate. First, we seal off the borders and only allow crossing through certain border checkpoints. Robots patrol, if they see you they warn you to stop and go back in Spanish, then warn one more time. Then shoot the non-lethal shot. If the perpetrator continues to the next zone, they are warned to go back twice, and then if they continue they are shot dead. Running persons in the reverse direction and back the country can continue without hassle as long as they keep moving out of the zones.

Any person coming over the border into our country must go through approved points of entry and must have an Icode Slix RFID-enabled card or implanted Chip. Which has all their information on it, including name, dates of shots and last check-up, job and regional location where they will be, basic humanly identifiers such as Finger Prints, Facial Recognition, DNA sample, retina scan. Also encoded would be various other information as we see fit.

If someone undocumented is caught without their card anywhere in the country, they are deported. If they commit a crime they are deported. Upon deportation, a sample of DNA, retina scan, and fingerprints are taken and logged in. This person can never come back to the US and is barred from lifetime re-entry. Anyone caught with an RFID Chip, which is forged is to be biometrically identified and then sent back. Anyone caught with someone else's card is sent out of the county and card confiscated and barred from lifetime re-entry after they work off the fees they were supposed to pay in the first place as listed below.

To get an RFID Card or chip, you must have shots against known diseases, no criminal record, a skill, and $500.00 on a person if going to work. $100.00 on a person if going to shop. You must also pay if you do not have shots $60.00 to get shots and $155.00 for the Card or $50.00 for the Chip which goes under the skin.

The card is good for 2 years. A new card must be attained and another fee of $155.00 or $50.00 (implant version RFID) is paid, with updated information.

These tags ping the satellite on Fri, Sat, Sun nights, and Wednesday, with random variations during the weekdays sometimes Mon, sometimes Thurs, sometimes Fri, sometimes Tuesdays.

Once a person has a card they may come and go as they please provided they have $100.00 on the person, ATM Card, or credit card balance with them when entering. The reason being if you have no money, then you might have to do something illegal on the way to where you are going to work. If you are going to shop you will need funds or you cannot come to the country. The fees can be paid by someone else, such as a sponsor. If paid by someone else that person is guaranteed there will be no criminal activity for 3 months (90 Days) if there is a fine of $10,000 that goes to that person which must be paid before any Government Services are rendered to them. This includes health care, education, social security, etc.

Businesses can sponsor workers too, the company is then liable for the $10,000 catch and release across border fee, which must be paid. This way businesses will try to hire locals first, if not the cross-border workforce will be considered second.

this means they are easily stolen.

Over a third of all credit and charge cards now in use in the USA are RFID scan-able. As card issuers are renewing cards, they are including a tiny chip in them. This is an Icode Slix RFID chip, which stands for Radio Frequency Identification.

These cards are now considered wireless, as they need not be touched by anyone or anything other than the issue. They do not have to be swiped, they can simply be scanned. The objective is to speed up check-out lines, simplify identification, and more.

The chips hold all your numbers, expiration dates, and security codes. When you go up to the counter, you swipe your card near a small RFID scanner, and your charge is registered. Put your card away and leave the store.

And hope the bad guys didn't also scan your unprotected cards.

They are not very apt to have done so while you were checking out. But, with the small and easily acquired scanners that are available now, they might have gotten your numbers while you were in line, standing at another counter, shopping some isle; actually, almost anywhere.

You may think this impossible because your cards never came out of your purse or wallet except at the check-out counter. Doesn't matter.

RFID scanners can scan your cards right through your pocket, purse, or wallet. Even though your hand. This is a super stealthy form of pickpocketing, and easy to do.

The newer scanners are quite small and inexpensive. (Try eBay for under $50). Some even come with cards to use for duplicating. Most will scan from several feet away.

So the person with the folded newspaper, or purse under his/her arm, looking at the magazines, could be scanning your cards while you are looking at the candy bars, for example. And you have just had your card numbers stolen.

Then, they can easily make phone or online purchases. Many can make and use duplicate cards.

Do you check your statements every month? Carefully? Please do. These thieves can make small purchases at stores common to everyone's shopping patterns, that never alert the bank, and can easily be looked over by you.

If you don't protect your cards, you are quite likely headed for the considerable inconvenience at the least.

If there are purchases, for, say under $100, at a supermarket in or near your neighborhood, and using your Bank Visa card numbers, how easy do you think it will be to convince the bank you didn't make the purchases? Especially considering you still have the card in your possession?

How can one tell if there is an RFID chip in one of their cards?

Some cards are using a symbol, such as the 3 curved vertical lines often used to indicate radio or sound. Others are using names, such as Safe pay. If your card has a name or symbol you don't recognize or understand, there is a good chance it is RFID enabled.

You don't have to be a victim. You can protect yourself. Card numbers in an aluminum credit card case cannot be scanned. The RFID scanners will not scan through aluminum or steel.
