Jiya conquer Arabian Sea 12 years of age

g yourself. Today we are talking about the story of one such girl who is a Super Hero at such a tender age. Storyofosuls is indeed proud to bring such a story to you. This is the story of Jiya conquering the Arabian Sea at 12 years of young age.

Introduction
Mostly, we keep looking for superheroes in films and comics not knowing they are right among us. One such superhero or should we call supergirl is Jiya Rai.

Jiya is a 12-year-old who swam a distance of 36 km in a very short period of time. She suffers from Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a disability that interferes with communication and behaviour. However, that is her in the Arabian Sea. Near the Prongs Lighthouse off the coast of Colaba. You can find several shipwrecks beneath its seas. Isn’t this a creepy thought?

Will you believe it if we say that, Jiya took just 8.40 hours to swim to the Gateway of India from the Bandra-Worli Sealink? That’s roughly how long it takes to fly from Mumbai to London. She did this to boost autism awareness. Beginning at 3.50 a.m. and arriving at 12.30 p.m.

What’s so great about Jiya Rai?
You may have this question in your mind. Well, let me tell you that she is the first and youngest girl with ASD to accomplish such a feat in open water.

Her accomplishment prompted me to search into ASD. My generation has never heard of autism, dyslexia, or Asperger’s syndrome. They are disorders of learning, social interaction, and communication. Which we insensitively mistook for a person’s ineptitude, incompetence, and insanity. As a result, I’m grateful to Jiya. I’m also envious of the young girl because I can’t swim!
