Abbie and Greg first met at a festival in Wales once they were 16 years of age. "A couple of months later we'd our first date on our local beach," says Abbie. "Greg proposed whenever we were on a holiday to Iceland as a birthday gift. We wound up going on a nighttime excursion, searching for the Northern Lights. Around 1 am I was standing in the center of a forest searching for the lights, that have been nowhere to appear. Greg then chose to get recorded on one knee and also the Northern Lights came out at the same moment. The feeling was incredible!"

BRIDAL SHOPS FEELTIMES

Abbie's first stop was FeelTimes online shop. "I find the wedding gown because it helped me feel elegant, fresh, and delightful," she says. "I purchased from the website www.feeltimes.com and also the girls were very useful and sweet. They solved the problem make the ultimate decision by stating that not many people might get away with your a plain, fitted dress."

AN INTIMATE VENUE

"We chose our incredible venue, Talhenbont Hall, three years ago," says Abbie. "The grounds are simply breathtaking. The venue was very intimate and only for us, which allowed my hubby and our families to remain for a total of 72 hours."

THE BIG DAY

The wedding was around the 15th of November 2021. "It only agreed to be perfect," says Abbie. "It would be a rainy day but we simply didn't care whatsoever."

"I had booked a swing/jazz band for Greg, like a wedding gift, plus they were incredible. They sang 'Fly Me towards the Moon' as I walked on the aisle, the industry very personal song to Greg and me because it reminds us of our lost ones."

MOOD-LIFTING COLOUR

Even though the wedding is in November, the pair wanted to allow it to be as light and colorful as possible can. "The room was full of white roses and hydrangeas, except our top table, which had a range of colorful flowers inside a blue and white Chinese vase," says Abbie.

"We lit the area with beautiful smelling candles coupled with scalloped pink napkins to enhance the colors."

A SHOWSTOPPING RETRO CAKE

"The best bit was my retro cake," says Abbie. "It only agreed to be an absolute imagine piped ribbons in pinks and blues, topped with cherries."

"It wasn't your normal wedding cake, but who desires normal? We were built with a vanilla-piped, one-tier wedding cake with cherries on the top. The cake was then surrounded with cupcake puddings, decorated beautifully with lots of different colors."

DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY

"The day was filled with laughter, happiness far more of love," says Abbie. "We were built with a gorgeous sit-down meal within the main coach house, encompassed by all the beautiful multicolored flowers and Chinese vases."

"Then, for that night party, we hired the very best DJ we're able to find. He made the party amazing with no one leaving the party area. He seemed to be accompanied by our incredible sax player, who joined the set for most of the night. It only agreed to be amazing, there aren't any words!"

"We also had the very best of the very best when it came to the food, too. Our caterers Cheeky Chilli are outstanding. You couldn't fault anything."

SPARKLERS, CONFETTI, AND A MAGICAL FIRST DANCE

"The most memorable moment was probably our first dance," says Abbie. "We started with 'A Good Night' by John Legend, as we desired to keep everything upbeat and happy. Then the song went into Kid Cudi's Pursuit of Happiness, after which everyone joined in and went crazy! During the first dance, we also had sparklers and confetti canons set off around us, which only agreed to be magical."

MY TOP TIPS…

"It's your entire day, you need to do what you want!" says Abbie. "You don't just have things the standard way, you need to put yourself first."
