On this journey you get a glimpse into the history and culture of these mountains and these places. Every mountain, landscape, peak, route, road tells a unique story of its own.

To write your story, you have to visit it on your own and claim these serene views of Ladakh as your own. Pros:
1) You can get a bike from Manali and opt for it to be a bike trip.

2) There isn't much problem in acclimatization due to it being a road trip.

3) Unlike other itineraries, the duration of this trip isn't that long. So getting an office/college leave is easier.

Itinerary

DAY 1: DELHI TO MANALI

You get on a bus from Delhi in the evening and leave for Manali. You will reach Manali in the morning.

DAY 2: MANALI

You will use this day for acclimatization purposes. In the meantime you can visit some nearby and popular places in Manali like Vasishta Temple, Hadimba temple, The Mall road etc.

If this is a bike trip, you will take a bike from Manali and start your bike trip the next day.

DAY 3: MANALI TO SARCHU

This is the day when your actual Leh trip starts. You will travel via Leh Manali Highway, cross Atal Tunnel and enter Lahaul Valley. Other famous places like Darcha, Baralacha Pass will also meet us in the journey ahead.

Finally take a halt at Sarchu and recharge yourself for the more thrilling journey ahead.

DAY 4: SARCHU TO LEH

It’s a day of high passes. We’ll need to cross one after the other to reach our destination.
Initially, we’ll cross the Gata Loops followed by Nakee-La and Lachung-La. Reach Pang by afternoon and have lunch in these gorgeous plains. Later on, we’ll cross Tanglang La, the second highest pass of the world, to reach Leh.

Finally you've reached Le where you'll be staying for the night.

DAY 5: LEH

Post breakfast, head out to explore the region.
It's time to finally explore Leh. There are many places that you must visit in Leh such as the Hall of Fame Museum, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hills, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and others. Don't forget about exploring the local markets and cafes. And yes, don't forget to get some souvenirs for your family and friends.

DAY 6: KHARDUNG LA-HUNDER-NUBRA VALLEY-DISKIT

It's time to head for the beautiful Nubra Valley via the highest motorable road. You will visit the

DAY 7: NUBRA TO PANGONG TSO LAKE VIA SHYOK VALLEY

Experience the beautiful sunrise from between the mountains the very first thing in morning. Visit the infamous Pangong Tso and Pangong lake and see its colour changing.

Enjoy your stay at the campsite and experience stargazing in the night.

DAY 8: PANGONG TSO TO LEH

Well it's time to bid goodbye to Pangong and head back to Leh once again. We’ll cross the 2nd highest motorable road in the world “The mighty Chang La” situated at an altitude of 17,550ft.

DAY 9: LEH TO JISPA

Head towards Jispa for the overnight stay.

DAY 10: JISPA TO MANALI. DEPARTURE.

Sadly it's time to bid farewell to Jispa and end this trip on a happy note. You'll head towards Manali and explore Manali by yourself. And finally it's time to depart from Manali as well.

You'll reach Delhi by tomorrow morning.
