SETHAN VALLEY
If tourists are thinking of or planning an excursion, the first destination that pops into their thoughts is Manali trip. Any time of the year, it is a hill station that attracts many visitors from various places in Manali. Because it's the most popular hill station, many overlook other places to visit. One of the most popular destinations for travelers is Sethan Valley. The valley is situated at an altitude of more than 2700m above sea level. It is just a 45-minute drive from Manali. Because most people aren't aware of this area, it is not likely to see most tourists who visit the town. This is the ideal spot to take a break for a few days. The best time to go is the wintertime. The area is covered with white snow, making it a gorgeous spectacle to behold.
The beautiful Dhauladhar ranges and the river Beas flowing through its forms are easily visible in the valley. WHEN TO VISIT AND WHAT TO DO?
The ideal season to go to Sethan Valley is from December to March, when you can have fun in the snow. In addition to making snowmen and having the fun of having a snowball fight with buddies, an avid participant in the adventurous side of life, then you must consider snowboarding, skiing, or snow-hiking. If you plan to visit in the summer months, then sleeping under the stars and hiking through the rocky trails are good alternatives. NAGGAR
Naggar is a small, historic town located in the Kullu region of the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated at an elevation of 1800 meters. Naggar is situated at the height of 1800m. Naggar town was once considered to be the capital city of the Kullu kingdom. It is small, but it's an excellent place for a relaxing time when you take a break from your hectic life. Local artisans stunningly design it from the time of the medieval era. The walls in the interior are well-adorned with numerous paintings of The Russian creator Nicholas Roerich. The legend says that Nicholas was in one of the bedrooms at the castle. Thus, anything he designed or collected in his time was displayed on the walls for each guest to view and admire. After being featured in the famous Bollywood film titled 'Jab We Met, ' the castle gained more fame.' You can choose to enjoy your dinner or lunch in the Naggar Castle complex. They are known for serving the finest Garhwali cuisine in the city. Anyone looking to learn more about Russian Folk Art, like their singing, dance, and art creations, should also consider visiting the Uruswati Himalayan Folk Art Museum. The museum opened in 1928 and was a research center by its founder, the Russian professor Nicolas Roerich. The purpose of the museum was to research Tibetan and Indian medicine. Other exciting places to see around the Naggar valley are the Dagpo monastery, Gauri Shankar Temple, and the Jagatipatt temple. For the most enjoyment of your stay in the town, take a hike around the area or fish for Trouts.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The ideal season to travel to Naggar is between October to November, in the months when the climate is perfect, neither too cold nor hot. You will be able to locate the most comfortable accommodation options also. It is also possible to go to Naggar during winter, which is filled with snow. But, do so only if you're able to endure winter because it can be freezing.
KOTHI
The well-known Rohtang Valley is a popular destination for visitors to take in the dense white snow, allowing them to take pleasure in the cold in various ways. BEST TIME TO VISIT
The ideal time to visit the place is to witness the area blanketed in the snow between June and October. Although the Rohtang Pass may be shut because of snowfall, you can still reach this area by road. If you're not a fan of winter, it is possible to visit during the summer months, from March to June. Therefore, it is the best time to go on trekking towards the village or the Rohtang Pass.
