You could have their eyes, their abilities, their feeling of comedy or their legendary temper. You will never know until you start looking.

Why should just the wealthy and popular be remembered? The everyday, working type person endured more and probably saw more of life than some other class. If we share our research and use it in people domain then we could ensure it is easy for the descendants to get us.
